Microsoft, KT to jointly develop AI, cloud technologies

South Korean Telecom company KT Corp. announced that it will partner with US technology giant Microsoft

To develop the local artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing industries

KT officials also said that under the partnership, the two organizations will jointly conduct AI and cloud research projects

Meanwhile, Hitachi and Microsoft announced a projected multibillion-dollar collaboration

Hitachi will propel the growth of the Lumada business, with a planned revenue of $18.9 billion in FY2024
