OVHcloud opens third data center in Sydney backed by proprietary water cooling technology
OVH Cloud provider has unveiled its third data center in Sydney, a testament to it’s commitment to innovation. This state-of-the-art facility features cutting-edge water-cooling technology, a game-changer in supporting the increasing requirement for high-performance cloud solutions.
This launch also marks OVH Cloud’s most sustainable data center in Australia, a testament to our dedication to environmental responsibility. Following recent expansions in Singapore and India over the last 14 months, we prioritize sustainability in our operations.
Also, the Sydney facility is part of a broader network of six data centers across the Asia Pacific region, providing sovereign, secure cloud services personalized for businesses looking to explore this dynamic market.

Also, the company has 44 data centers across nine countries. It plans to add seven more data centers soon. These locations include France, the US, Canada, Germany, Australia, Poland, Singapore, India, and the UK.
Furthermore, the first facility in Sydnye within an Equinix data center was launched in 2019, followed by the second data center in a NextDX facility in February 2021.
In recent years, OVH has opened eight data centers in Canada, occupying space in the Ascent TOR1 data center in Toronto. Last month, the company launched a quantum computer in a data center in Croix, France, and Powered up its data center in Mumbai, India. OVHcloud launched a multi-zone cloud region in Paris last month.
