Keysight Joins the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative
Keysight Technologies has extended the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC) ‘s current collaboration with the U.S. government to improve cybersecurity resilience.
Specifically, Keysight is meant to support JCDC in attaining its essential purpose of bringing together worldwide cyber fraternities in a default defense of cyberspace. It will do this by leveraging 20 years of cybersecurity testing and threat intelligence research, thereby highlighting the importance of this initiative.
The JCDC was established by CISA in August 2021 as a preventive step to curb the increasing dangers posed to nations’ sovereignty. To improve readiness for cybersecurity incidents, the group collects, analyzes, and disseminates applicable information pertaining to cyber risks through proactive joint activities involving both governmental and private sources.
An important goal is for them always to enable individuals or entities involved with that field of expertise to remain one step ahead of the criminals as they prevent any adverse consequences resulting from those same criminals’ actions related to issues around cybersecurity.
Keysight’s Threat Simulator is a key player in the JCDC’s activities. It provides daily updates on the latest ransomware and malware campaigns, which are used to validate firewalls, endpoint protection software, and SIEM tools, thereby ensuring a secure environment.
Keysight’s IOT security assessment is a crucial component in the initiative’s comprehensive approach to cybersecurity. It offers firmware analysis, SBOM generation, and network security testing of connected devices, thereby improving and testing the cybersecurity of devices like industrial controllers and IOT and ensuring a secure environment.
“Keysight is honored to join JCDC, extending our years of collaborating with the U.S. government as a provider of electronic test and measurement products and services, including electronic warfare, 5G/6G, and cybersecurity validation and training,” said Keysight’s VP of security solutions, Scott Register.
“By combining our expertise with the collective strength of JCDC, we can accelerate the development of innovative solutions to safeguard critical infrastructure and protect our nation from cyberattacks.”
