iPhone is set to launch new AI chatbot
ChatGPT will soon have new competitors, as Apple has revealed that it will launch a new AI chatbot soon. In the recent newsletter from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple hinted it would approach AI integration.
As a part of its new Apple intelligence initiative, the tech giant will reportedly prepare itself to integrate Google’s Gemini chatbot into its system. This new AI feature is expected to be launched soon for Apple users.
In Bloomberg’s newsletter, Gurman advised that Apple will most likely announce a partnership with Google by the end of the year. This collaboration will further aim to include Google AI in the iPhone range, expanding the handset’s AI capabilities.
Gurman addressed in the newsletter, “I expect an Apple deal with Anthropic or Google, and at least the former to be announced around the time Apple intelligence launches this fall.”
The introduction of the AI chatbot feature marks a significant strategic shift for Apple, a company known for its in-house technologies. By partnering with Google and leveraging Gemini’s robust features, Apple is set to enhance its AI services in a compelling new way.
With the integration of Gemini, iPhone users can look forward to a more versatile AI experience. They will be able to use Gemini for a variety of tasks, enhancing their iOS device’s capabilities alongside existing tools like Siri.
Along with Gemini Integration, ChatGPT will become more embedded in Apple’s ecosystem. Moreover, earlier this year, in 2024, ChatGPT will easily link up with Siri and other applications on Apple devices, which will provide answers when it offers more relevant information than Apple’s native AI.
